—Race the Train.

14 mile race against a steam train.

The train won, 01:47:00.

—Sedbergh Hills Fell Race.

A tough fell race in the magnificent Howgills, the race packed a lot  of climbs into it’s 14 miles. The 1800m’s of ascent was mostly of the straight up wall of death variety, followed by a vertiginous plummet down the other side, falling over was no problem though as the Howgills are populated with lovely tussocky grass which is very forgiving.
