Racing Round Up – w.e 2nd June – Glaisdale, Wolds, Stockholm…

—Glaisdale Rigg Fell Race.

Race number two of the North York Moors Summer Series was a 8.5 mile jaunt around Glaisdale, not far from Whitby.
It was a fantastic evening for running , just spoilt a little by a late evening downpour.
Ewan Sewell was one of two runners to speed away from the pack in the race’s early stages, unfortunately the pair missed the turn for the loop to checkpoint one so were DQ’d.
The next race in the series is Whorlton Run on Wednesday 5th June at 7:15, it’s just over 10k and is one of the least tricky of the series races, quite a bit of road, some grass fields, gravel trail and not much trudging through ankle deep heather.
