Great Team Effort at Calderdale Way Relay

Knavesmire Harriers returned on 17 May for a second attempt at the Calderdale Way Relay Race. A massive event , comprising six legs run in pairs over the steep  hills and along the canals and valleys  of the Halifax area. The hotly contested race is now in it's 31st year and regularly attracts nearly 100 teams of 12 from across the North . Danefield Relay – Entries

Danefield Relay – Tuesday 30th June – 7:15pm We will be entering teams into the Danefield Relay again this year. It is a 3 x 3 mile trail race relay just south of Otley. It is a relaxed and fun event which helps build some team spirit and allows you to meet other club members. All members of any ability are welcome to take part and teams can be men, ladies or mixed. ‘Mixed’ Success at Danefield Relays

Report by Neil Stabbs The evening of Tuesday 1st July saw the annual running of the Danefield Relay, taking on 3 x 3 mile laps of the Chevin Country Park, north of Leeds. Knavesmire hadn’t fielded a team for a few years, so 3 of us decided to head over to see how we fared on what turned out to be a tough course with a killer climb at the end.
