Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix series – first 4 Races summary.

Report by Vets Captain Neil Stabbs. It’s almost halfway through the year and we’re now 4 races into the 9 race Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix series. After the season’s first race at Honley in April, we’ve since had races at West Park and Kirkstall in Leeds and at Mulgrave Castle, just north of Whitby. --YDRRL 'Summer' League Race #1 - Pocklington. The 'Summer' league got off to a great start, with 100 members of York Knavesmire Harriers taking part on Tuesday evening, A nasty cloud burst before the start was somewhat ominous , but it was soon gone and conditions for the race were good , maybe a little too chilly , but a good tailwind on the way back into Pocklington. Vets 2016

Vets 2016 Any club member aged 35 years or more is eligible to complete in this series of races held throughout the year. Team YKH has been affiliated to the Yorkshire Veterans’ Athletic Association (yvaa) for a number of years and we welcome any club member who would like to run for their club and earn our team valuable points.
