—Ilkley Half Marathon.

An undulating route along the River Wharfe from Ilkley, good crowds spurring the runners on and a killer hill at 18 km’s.

—Race to the Stones.

Richard Walker completed this 100km Ultra Marathon which traverses the beautiful Ridgeway from Lewkor ( Oxfordshire ) to Avebury ( Wiltshire ) , ending in a loop of the stone circle.
There was fantastic scenery along the way and the weather was fortunately not too hot.
Richard was 159th of 1285 competitors  ( 23rd / 172 in Vet 50 Cat )  and finished in 12 hours, 29 mins and 19 seconds , the race is part of the Threshold Trail Series.
